Great Mexican food joint! Staff is fantastic and food is great! Sports games always on, margaritas the size of a lake and the vibe is always positive. Atmosphere is cool and they never rush you. They have plenty of tables and even a party room. Beers are big and ice cold and fresh. Kid's menu for your picky eaters!
My family and i just recently moved in the area, we decided to check this Mexican restaurant out and so glad we did. From the time we walked in to leaving, our service was great and on point. Our waiter he was such a polite sweetheart. We will be returning again and again ???? I don't understand why some people are putting this place down and their food because it's by far the BEST i have ever had ????????????????♀️
Eaten here more times than I can count between workday lunches and dinner takeout. Chips are always great. Food is always delicious with generous portions. Staff has always been pleasant, food is brought out quickly, and the place is always clean. Highly recommend.
We like El Picante. Probably the best standard Americanized Mexican within 30 miles of Maineville. I got the Pollo San Jose this time. It was delicious and well seasoned. The chicken breast wasn't dry and was well seasoned. The shrimp had the perfect texture not over cooked. The 'special sauce' is a chipotle sauce mixed with cheese sauce. It's not hot. If you like a little more heat I recommend the tapatio hot sauce that's on the table. Very well flavored.

Great food, excellent service. Walked in and ordered take out, food was brought to me within ten minutes. Same quick service if you done in as well.
